Quickly locate patient records with the intuitive Search for a Patient tool. Whether you're retrieving a prescription history, verifying demographic details, or preparing for an upcoming consultation, this feature allows you to access patient information in seconds with just a few keystrokes.
Overview
The Search for a Patient feature provides fast, accurate access to patient records across the Avalon Health ecosystem. Designed for efficiency and ease of use, it supports multiple search criteria—including name, phone number, ID number, or prescription ID—making it simple to locate any patient file.
Key features include:
1. Multi-Criteria Search:
Search by name, contact details, ID number, or prescription reference.
2. Instant Access to Records:
View medication history, appointment logs, allergies, and clinical notes in one place.
3. Smart Suggestions:
Get auto-complete suggestions as you type for faster results.
4. Secure and Role-Based Access:
Ensure that only authorized users can view or edit patient information.
5. Cross-Platform Integration:
Pulls data from clinics, pharmacies, and labs within the Avalon Health network.
Step 1: Go to the Patient Search Page
Navigate to the left sidebar and click on "Search Patient" to access the search tool.
Step 2: Enter Patient Information
Search for the Patient using either First and Last Name , Avalon ID or File Number
2. Searching Patient
Use the search bar or the Search Saved Patientslink on the sidebar and enter the patient’s name and surname, file number of the Organisatin or ID. Click Search
3. Editing Patient Details
After clicking Search the patients documents will be displayed. If you wish to edit the information, click on the Edit button. After editing Submit the changes and the information is updated
4. Requesting Patient Access
Enter the patient's Avalon ID, the period you are requesting the files (e.g 1hour, 1day, 1week, 1month, 1year) and request access.
